Waterville city-wide clean-up day is scheduled for Saturday, April 21, 2012. There will be curb side pickup 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

The Marshall County Transfer station will be free from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 14th, 21st, and 28th; and Saturday, May 5th.

Dog and cat tags are now available at the City Office and must be purchased by April 1, 2012 to avoid a penalty. Tags are $3.00 if the animal is spayed or neutered and $5.00 if they are not. Please bring proof of rabies shot with you for registration.

The Waterville Swimming Pool will close for the season on Sunday, August 28. A dog swim, "Pups in the Pool", will be on that day from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. The following list will be last splash dates and closings:

• August 17 - last Aquasize
• August 18 - pool will close at 6:00 p.m.
• August 25 & 26 - pool closed
