ORDINANCE NO. 626
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE RATES AND CHARGES FOR ELECTRICITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF WATERVILLE, MARSHALL COUNTY KANSAS:
Section 1. Ordinance 596 shall be amended to read as follows.
Section 2. That the rates for electrical current shall be as set forth:
Per customer charge - $22.77 per month.
First 500 kWh – 9.1 cents/kWh per month
Next 500 kWh – 8.8 cents/kWh per month
Excess kWh – 8.5 cents/kWh per month
Section 3. All bills are subject to a fuel adjustment increase or decrease which varies monthly.
Section 4. All Ordinances or parts of ordinances conflicting herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall become effective upon publication in the Waterville Telegraph.

ORDINANCE NO. 627
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE RATES AND CHARGES FOR ELECTRICITY FOR DEMAND METERS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF WATERVILLE, MARSHALL COUNTY KANSAS:
Section 1. Ordinance 597 shall be amended to read as follows.
Section 2. From and after October 25, 2007, the rates per kWh for electrical current billed for three phase and demand meters shall be the following:
Demand Charge:
$8.72 per kWh of demand
KWH Charge:
.0872 for the first 2000 kWh
.0839 for the second 2000 kWh
.0818 for the third 2000 kWh
.0709 for all above 6000 kWh
Commercial Customer Charge:
$22.77 per kWh
Three Phase Commercial Charges:
Commercial Standard Charge $11.00
Commercial 100 $12.00
Commercial 125 $13.50
Commercial 150 $17.50
Commercial 300 $33.00
Commercial 501 $55.00
Section 3. The minimum KVA electric service charge is 82 cents per KVA of required transformer capacity.
Section 4. All bills are subject to a fuel adjustment increase or decrease which varies monthly.
Section 5. All ordinances or parts of ordinances conflicting herewith are repealed.

ORDINANCE NO. 617
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 570 PROVIDING SEWER CHARGES FOR THE USE OF THE SANITARY SEWERS AND SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM OF THE CITY OF WATERVILLE, KANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF WATERVILLE, KANSAS:
SECTION 1. Sections 2, 3, and 4 of Ordinance No. 570 are repealed and the following sections providing the rates for sewer service are substituted.
SECTION 2. All Residential Users. Minimum charge per residential sewer user per month and the first 2,000 gallons of average winter water used, $15.00 per month. Each additional 1,000 gallons of average winter water, 50 cents per 1,000 gallons.
SECTION 3. All Rural Users. Minimum charge per rural sewer user per month and the first 2,000 gallons of average winter water used, $25.00 per month. Each additional 1,000 gallons of average winter water, 75 cents per 1,000 gallons.
SECTION 4. All Commercial and Industrial Users. Minimum charge per commercial and industrial sewer user per month and the first 2,000 gallons of average winter water used, $15.00 per month. Each additional 1,000 gallons of average winter water, 75 cents per 1,000 gallons.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon publication in the official city paper.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the Governing Body this 11th day of July, 2011.
ORDINANCE NO. 616
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 610 AND PROVIDING CHARGES FOR WATER SERVICE FURNISHED BY THE CITY OF WATERVILLE, KANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF WATERVILLE, KANSAS:
SECTION 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 610 is repealed and the following section providing the rates for water used after November 22, 2010 is substituted.
INSIDE CITY LIMITS: Minimum charge per water meter per month which includes the first 2,000 gallons of water used $21.50 per month. Each additional 100 gallons at .225 cents per 100 gallons.
OUTSIDE CITY LIMITS: Minimum charge per water meter per month which includes the first 2,000 gallons of water used $24.30 per month. Each additional 100 gallons at .275 cents per 100 gallons.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon publication in the official city paper.
